- Solar: $50 Permit Fee + $50 Electric + .25 per square feet for each Array Panel
- A penalty equal to double the permit fee will be charged for work done without obtaining a building permit.
Once a permit has been issued and if no construction has begun within 60 days, the maximum refund will be 50% of the square footage cost. All other permit fees (including the $50 & $100 for the permit before adding the .25/sq. ft.) are nonrefundable. Construction must begin within 180 days of the issuance of a permit or if the work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned for a period of 180 days after work has started.
**Permit renewal: 50% of the original cost – $50.00 minimum. Permits are valid for one year. If you choose not to stand for your inspection and/or you fail the inspection, there is a $25.00 re-inspection fee payable prior to re-inspection.**
